You used to run through my garden with a poppy in your hair, chasing after those delicate dandelion seeds. You ran to me, we closed our eyes and wished, and then blew those seeds into the air, entrusting our dreams to the world. It makes me smile every time I think about it. Your innocence for life taught me to keep on loving it too. And you were only 6!
One day I will leave this world, unable to hold your hand and dream with you. But I want to leave you with this letter, so you'll always remember. When life knocks you down, my darling, remember our dandelion. They come in the early spring, symbolising a rebirth of growth after a harsh winter. Get up again and bloom, like the dandelion for tough times won't last. The next time you blow on a dandelion, dream your wildest dreams and smile your biggest smile. Here are some tips to treat your dUCks with love and care:
Care Instructions
- Recommended to hand wash and line dry
- For makeup or oil stains, spot treat with a stain remover
- Steam iron or dry iron on medium heat
- For storage, fold or hang in a wardrobe
- Dry clean recommended or hand wash with mild detergent
- Wash separately before first use
- Steam Iron is recommended
- Machine-wash under a gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag
- Iron on low temperature
- Avoid direct contact of dUCk hardware with strong chemicals such as detergent, perfume, etc
- Hang to dry, do not tumble dry
- Protect from direct light, heat and rain. Should it become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth
- Avoid direct contact with substances that might cause colour transfer, bleeding, and fading
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap
- Keep clean by wiping with a soft damp cloth
- Do not wash, soak, bleach, or machine dry to avoid damaging the material
- When not in use, store it flat or upright to preserve its shape
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotion, hair spray or other substances that might cause damage
- Clean after each use with a soft cloth
- When not in use, store it in a dustbag or airtight jewellery box
