The Nisa dUCk - Sarah Set in White
I was at my cousin's wedding when a beautiful chaos unfolded; aunts and cousins in a gotong-royong, sleeves rolled up as they cooked in giant pots and washed dishes. These were women of substance, who came together to make sure the wedding was a success. And later, as I read Surah An-Nisa in the Holy Qur’an, everything made perfect sense.
I realised then how Islam puts women on a pedestal, protects us, even asks for gifts be given to us. I mean! And in return, women achieve so much, from bringing children into the world to leading a country — there's nothing women can't do. Let's not forget the ultimate woman, the first Muslim woman, Saidatina Khadijah RA - she was a successful businesswoman and devoted wife to Prophet Muhammad SAW.
I knew I wanted to celebrate the exceptionality of women this Eid, so what started as an Arabic word turned into a petal which turned into a beautiful and meaningful flower. This Eid, I want you to remember how you were already destined to be special, so bloom like this Nisa flower. From myself and the team, Eid Mubarak, dUCkies.

- Steam iron or dry iron on medium heat
- For storage, fold or hang in a wardrobe
- Dry clean recommended or hand wash with mild detergent
- Wash separately before first use

- Machine-wash under a gentle cycle in a laundry mesh bag
- Iron on low temperature
- Avoid direct contact of dUCk hardware with strong chemicals such as detergent, perfume, etc
- Hang to dry, do not tumble dry
- Protect from direct light, heat and rain. Should it become wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth
- Avoid direct contact with substances that might cause colour transfer, bleeding, and fading
- Clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap
